A Sentimental Bat

Hi there! My name is Ivy, I'm 19 years old, and I draw stuff as well as play video games (like everyone else). I'm in a lot of fandoms.

I’m gonna keep this little “hello” part short and just say a couple things. First, this has taken me all day to do. After hearing that game music and clicking so many times I’m almost stir crazy. Second, someone else has put together a thoughtful guide as well! shlaegel has a guide that includes the dates of each boy’s scenes and how to best manage working in each of the 3 jobs. So go check that out if those interest you.

Anyway, head on over to Memory Days Sim Date by Pacthesis, and hopefully this guide will be helpful!

ABOUT YOU

I don’t know how many people know this, but the answers you choose in the little survey influence the status of each boy’s relationship to you in the very beginning. So if you want to start with Kai as a Friend rather than a Class Mate, then you’d pick 2, 1, 3. If you want two boys, like Daichi and Haru then you have to choose at least one answer for the other boy. Ex. 1, 3, 1 will make Haru start off as Friend, and Daichi will be right at the cusp of being your Friend.
NOTE: Each time I tested this, I skipped the introduction. I have no idea if going through that changes anything, like for example refusing to give Haru’s diary back might make him less than Friend status. I really don’t know. That doesn’t change who the answers are affiliated with, though.

What do you remember about your childhood?
  1. Enjoying the outdoors. (Daichi)
  2. Being surrounded by people I love. (Kai)
  3. I don’t remember much. (Haru)
What are you afraid of?
  1. Things that threaten me. (Kai)
  2. The uncertain future. (Daichi)
  3. Confronting people. (Haru)
What is important to you?
  1. Finding a purpose. (Haru)
  2. Being happy. (Daichi)
  3. The truth. (Kai)

ENDINGS

These are the endings as well as how to get them. 8P

Ending 1: Your Next Phone Call

Spend very little time with Haru, just make sure he is at Friend status. Do not meet with him on Christmas. Give him Valentine’s Day treats and tell him they’re a confession. After that, you can just skip ahead to the end ‘cause you’re not meeting him on your birthday either. Don’t do any dates or anything, no matter how cute he is!

Ending 2: Happily Ever After

Spend lots of time with Haru. Try to get all of his scenes, go on dates with him, everything. Meet with him on Christmas and your birthday. Basically, play the game.

Ending 3: All the Time in the World

Spend very little time with Daichi, same as with Haru above. Just make sure he’s at Friend status, and avoid him until V-Day, then give him treats and again, tell him they’re a confession. Then skip to the end.

Ending 4: It’s a Promise

Spend lots of time with Daichi. Do everything with him, EVERYTHING.

Ending 5: Until Our Paths Cross Again

The thing about Kai is he doesn’t work like the other boys. I don’t think it matters how much time you spend with him in either of his endings. So, it’s up to you. I say spend lots of time with him because it makes this ending even more sad. Then, at the end, tell him to go to Reton.

Ending 6: Always By My Side

Same as above, spend lots of time with Kai, because he’ll need a reason to listen to you when you tell him at the end to stay in Cigam.

Ending 7: The Fallen Prince

Okay, to get this ending, you need to find the Old Key. Go to the Lake, and if you wait a bit you’ll see a little sparkle on a tree in the right side of the screen. Click that. Now all you have to do is skip ahead to the end, ‘cause you can’t date anyone for this ending.

Ending 8: Three Evil Exes

Okay, so this is a little tricky, maybe. Here’s how I did it. Get all of the boys up to Good Friend status by the end of Winter. It’s really not that hard, you don’t even need to talk to them very much, just try and get all of their scenes. Do NOT meet any of them on Christmas. Now that you’re in Spring, you’re going to take advantage of their Confession scenes.

First is Daichi, go to the Hallway on Monday, he’ll ask you to watch him play basketball. Do that, and when he confesses, say you like him back. Then, on Tuesday, break up with him. Make sure you tell him that “it isn’t working”, don’t let him be friends.

On Wednesday, go to the Cafe. Kai will ask you out to eat ice cream, do that. When he asks you out, say yes, then on Thursday, break up with him. Say the same as before, “it isn’t working”.

Then Haru will be at the lake on Friday, go there and hang out with him. He’ll confess, and you should say you feel the same. Then, on Saturday, break up with him. Again “it isn’t working”. You can skip ahead to the end from there.

Ending 9: Queen of the Friend Zone

This is kind of the opposite of the one above. Instead of saying yes to all their proposals, you need to deny them. So go to their scenes, but tell them no each time they confess. After Haru, you can skip to the end.

Ending 10: Forever Alone

The easiest ending! All you have to do to get it is skip to end, without doing anything. Enjoy!
